Muay Thai Fighters Representing Arunachal Won 19 Medals at National C’ship

The 20-member Muay Thai fighters representing the state at the National Muay Thai Championship won a total of 19 medals, including 8 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze.

The championship was organized by the United Muay Thai Association of India in Guwahati, Assam, from May 25-30.

The gold medalists included Demkento Panggeng (50kg), Jubin Gogoi (40kg), (Elite )Binjum Karlo (54kg), (Elite) Diyo Rimo (63.5 kg), (Elite ) Ajay Rebe Sono (81kg), Tada Cheri (56kg), Biro Cheri (53kg), and Gela Dadda (60kg).

The silver medalists were MD Mustakim Sheikh (67kg), Sonia Jokhio (48kg), Yukam Tabri (47kg), Jeevan Thapa (55kg), and Tabia Beyong (54g).

Fighters Sourav Biswas (45kg), Lungsam Lamnio (52kg), Lote Jomoh (54kg), Lucky Tagang (42kg), Miss Rashmi Rimo (47kg), and Namdu Effa (76kg) all won bronze medals.

Kunal Nayak was the coach while Sunyi Tajo represented as the manager.
