Grace Songlong Wins APPSC Logo Design Contest

ITANAGAR I Aug I 20 :

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission organized a small but befitting programme to felicitate the Winner and Consolation Prize Winners of the Logo Design Competition on 20th August, 2024 at the APPSC Conference Hall. 

On 27th June, 2024 the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) had invited creative minds to participate in a Logo Design Competition to create a logo for APPSC that encapsulates the purpose, values and the essence of the Commission. 

A dedicated link “LOGO DESIGN CONTEST” was created in the APPSC website for the participants. The competition witnessed significant number of contributions from the participants and 150 numbers of designs were received. 

The panel of judges chaired by the Chairman, APPSC had dedicatedly and carefully evaluated the submitted designs and selected the winning design that truly captured the essence of the Commission. 

Two more designs were found to be outstandingly creative and therefore they were selected for consolation prize. The Winning Design was created by Grace Songlong. She was awarded with a certificate and cash award of ₹ 20,000/- by the Commission. 

The Consolation Prize winners, Genom J and Khowang Hakhun were awarded with certificates and cash award of ₹ 5000/- each. 

Congratulating the winner and the consolation prize winners, Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa,  Chairman, APPSC underlined the significance of the winning design that will be officially adopted as the Logo of the APPSC. 

He thanked all the 150 participants of the Logo Design Competition for devoting a great deal of effort, intelligence and passion in their designs. 

Signifying the importance of Skill Development amongst the youth and Vocal for Local, the Chairman shared that the Commission decided to organize a Logo Design Competition to give a platform for the skilled and talented youth of the state to participate and showcase their talent.

 He encouraged the participants to keep their competitive spirit alive and keep participating in such competition.
