DoTCL Honors Academic Achievers from TCL Region with Cash Prizes and certificates
ITANAGAR I Aug I 21:
A total of 12 achievers from classes X and XII in Tirap, Changlang, and Longding Districts (TCL) were honored with a cash prize of Rs 25,000, commendation certificates, and mementos on Wednesday.
The 1st ever felicitation program was organized by the Department of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding Affairs (DoTCL), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, at the DK Auditorium, Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly (APLA), Itanagar.
This initiative aimed to recognize the academic excellence of students from the State Government Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools in these districts for the academic sessions 2022-23 and 2023-24. The felicitation aimed to inspire students to excel not only in academics but also in all aspects of life, fostering their growth into well-rounded and compassionate individuals.
During his address, the Chief Guest, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, advised students to cultivate a competitive mindset and strive for excellence. He congratulated the young toppers for their hard work, dedication, and academic achievements, encouraging them to remain resilient in the face of challenges and stay true to their values.
The Guest of Honor, Minister for DoTCL, Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Wangki Lowang, expressed his unwavering support and commitment to the development of the TCL region. His leadership in driving positive change in the region was highly appreciated.
Wanglin Lowangdong, from Borduria-Bogapani AC, advised students to continue their efforts to excel. He emphasized that such felicitation programs not only encourage meritorious students but also motivate others to strive for better performance.
The Secretary of DoTCL, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, earlier in his address, congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements. He highlighted the importance of education as a cornerstone for personal and societal development. The Secretary emphasized that the students’ hard work and determination had brought pride not only to their families but also to their districts and the entire state. He encouraged the toppers to continue their pursuit of excellence and serve as role models for their peers, reminding them that their success is just the beginning of a journey filled with greater opportunities and challenges.
Among others, the event was attended by Chakat Aboh, Advisor to HM (DoTCL), officers from the TCL districts posted at ICR, parents of the toppers, and other public leaders.
