ArSRLM’s DDU-GKY Job Fair 2025 Connects Skilled Youth with Leading Employers

In a significant move to boost employment among skilled youth, the Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) has successfully hosted the DDU-GKY Job Fair 2025. The event, which was aimed at providing job opportunities to candidates trained under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), saw a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic participants and top industry players.

The Job Fair was honored by the presence of Shri Teli Tada Camdir as the Chief Guest. His inauguration of the event was followed by an inspiring career counselling session where he urged the youth to pursue their career aspirations with zeal and informed them about the plethora of opportunities that skill-based employment offers in his associated companies.Teli Tada Camdir, a successful entrepreneur from Arunachal Pradesh, is currently affiliated with eight companies, where he holds the position of Managing Director.

The CEO-cum-State Mission Director of ArSRLM expressed immense pride in the successful execution of the event, highlighting its strong alignment with the Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat Mission — a visionary initiative aimed at transforming India into a developed nation.

She underlined the significance of fostering a symbiotic relationship between employers and employees, wherein both parties contribute to and benefit from each other’s growth. While candidates must approach their careers with seriousness, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility, she urged employers to reciprocate by providing a supportive environment, fair treatment, and ample growth opportunities for the candidates. By ensuring this mutual commitment, both stakeholders can effectively work towards achieving their respective goals while contributing to the broader vision of national development.

The COO (Skills) of ArSRLM underscored the organization’s commitment to bridging the gap between skilled individuals and potential employers. He stated that the DDU-GKY Job Fair is a crucial component in ensuring that skill development efforts result in tangible employment prospects.Heemphasized leveraging Arunachal Pradesh’s demographic dividend to drive economic growth and development.

SMM (MPB), ArSRLM, Ms.Nabam Ompi played a pivotal role as the Placement Incharge, coordinating with all the employers to ensure the smooth execution of the job fair and effective engagement with potential recruiters.

The Job Fair featured 8 prominent companies, including NSDC International, Compass Group, All India Education Health and Social Development Council, Sri Saravana Mills Private Ltd, Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, Safe Express, Sahi Export, and SCM Garment. These companies engaged in the interview process with the DDU-GKY trained candidates, who showcased their skills and readiness to enter the job market.

The offer letter distribution ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, marking the conclusion of the two-day event. This initiative is expected to create substantial employment opportunities for the youth of Arunachal Pradesh under DDUGKY, further empowering rural communities through sustainable livelihoods.
