Devastating Fire Destroys 9 Homes and 9 Graineries in Kerang-I Village
Kerang I Jun I 8 :
A massive fire accident in Kerang-1 village under Kaying Circle, Siang District, burned down a total of 9 dwelling houses and 9 granaries.
This was informed by EAC, Kaying.
The fire rendered nine families homeless. The victims whose houses were destroyed by the fire are Tangor Tapak, Yagom Gammi, Takir Padung, Taying Darang, Tage Padung, Tapor Pado, Tanyum Pado, Taduk Bodung, and Tagong Palit.
Nine granary stores, that were reduced to ashes, belonged to Tanyum Pado, Yagom Gammi, Tate Yosung, Yabar Pabin, Tamur Taga, Taduk Bodung, Tatem Gammi, Tageng Riyang, and Takir Padung.
With this latest fire, Kerang Village has now seen three troubling fire incidents.
