Dera Natung Government College (DNGC), Itanagar, has emerged as the champion of the XIII Inter-College Youth Festival, hosted by Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) at its Rono Hills campus in Doimukh from April 7 to 9, 2025.
The three-day event brought together students from various RGU-affiliated colleges to compete across a wide range of categories, including literary, cultural, games & sports, and athletics.
“I congratulate the talented DNGC team on their outstanding performance, which made the college proud by securing the championship as they emerged as the champions of the prestigious youth festival,” said DNGC Principal Dr. M.Q. Khan, expressing his pride and joy.
He further stated that this achievement clearly demonstrates the unsurpassable talent of their students in all spheres—including literary, cultural, athletics, and sports—and noted that many of them represent the state and country at national and international levels.
He also appreciated their commitment to discipline and hard work, without which such outstanding achievements would not be possible.
The inaugural function was graced by Chief Minister, Pema Khandu, as the Chief Guest. The DNGC team was escorted and guided by Dr. Joba Riba and L.R. Singh.
