International Nurses Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Himalayan University

International Nurses Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Himalayan Institute of Nursing on the premises of Himalayan University on Friday.
The celebration aimed to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of nurses to the global healthcare system.
Reyom Ete, Head Administrator and OSD to the Registrar of Himalayan University, attended the event as the special guest. Omem Apang, HR Councillor at Himalayan University, accompanied Ete to the event.

Yapu Lida, Head of the Himalayan Institute of Nursing, delivered the welcome address.
In her speech, Yapu Lida, Head of the Department of Nursing, expressed her gratitude to all nurses and healthcare professionals for their relentless dedication and service.
Lida emphasized the importance of International Nurses Day as a moment to acknowledge the tireless efforts of nurses in healthcare systems worldwide.
The special guest, Reyom Ete, praised the nursing community for its unwavering commitment to providing compassionate and effective healthcare.
Ete highlighted the significant role nurses play, not only in hospitals and clinics but also in educating and nurturing communities.

The day-long program saw traditional dances, songs, and skits that conveyed messages of gratitude and respect towards nurses, making the event memorable for all attendees.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Tana Ana and Yami Gokia, both 8th-semester students.
