Mass Plantation Drive Marks Rashtriya Poshan Maah Launch in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR I Aug I 31 :

Along with the rest of the nation, the 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah was launched in the state by Women & Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul on Saturday. 

To mark the occasion, a mass plantation drive was organized under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” symbolizing a collective commitment to nurturing both the environment and future generations.

 The Advisor to the Women & Child Development Minister, Tsering Lhamu, Secretary Mimum Tayeng, Director T.P. Loyi, and other officials were present on the occasion. 

 In her address, Minister Pul stated that the Ministry of Women and Child Development, under the guidance of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, is working diligently towards realizing the vision of a malnutrition-free nation, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

 The Government of India’s flagship initiative, POSHAN Abhiyaan, has been instrumental in advancing nutritional outcomes for pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls, and children under 6 years of age in a comprehensive manner.
