SCCZ’s Students Receive Career Advice from IPS, Robin Hibu

ZIRO I Mar I 17: A Career Guidance Programme was organized at Saint Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro (SCCZ) on Monday, in collaboration with Helping Hands (NGO) and ALS IAS. The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into career planning and competitive examinations.

Robin Hibu, IPS, DGP & Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and President of Helping Hands served as the resource person for the programme. Addressing the students, he emphasized the significance of pursuing one’s passion as a key factor in achieving success.

Robin defined a career as the pursuit of one’s passion with success, stating, “Whatever you like, whatever your career is, if you achieve success in it, that is a career.” He further emphasized the importance of discipline and commitment, urging students to step beyond their comfort zones.

He further added that when preparing for competitive exams, a thorough understanding of the syllabus and unwavering focus are essential to achieving the goals. 

The interactive session saw students engaging actively, asking relevant queries regarding career choices, preparation strategies, and overcoming challenges in competitive examinations. 

He also had an interaction with the teaching staff of the college and offered various academic and professional insights.

Later in the day, the Lower Subansiri District Administration in collaboration with the Health Promotion Cell of Saint Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro organised an awareness campaign on drug addiction, and health and hygiene for adolescent girls under the Arunachal Rising Campaign.
